How many pets can you put on an Ornament?
We can fit a maximum of 2 pets on each ornament. If you have more than that, we suggest ordering individual ornaments for each companion or commissioning a portrait of all of them together.
What kinds of animals can you do?
We can do all kinds of animals including wild life as long as you have a picture to provide! Cats, Dogs, Horses, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Rats, Birds, Lizards, even Fish, just ask us.
Do you work from photos?
Yes! Once you submit an order we get in touch via email to collect pictures. We ask for at least 3: one for potential pose, one for color, and one for personality. If you have a smaller more active and hard to capture pet you can submit a video that we can work from. You are always welcome to include more!
What is your timeline, when can I expect my order?
Ornament orders take a week to process from first sketch to shipping day. Once you have placed an order, we reach out via email and give you an estimate of when you can expect to see the first sketch based on how many are currently in production ahead of you. If you have a specific deadline or holiday in mind, please reach out beforehand for a personal estimate or potential rush shipping. It is always a good idea to order Ornaments early!
Custom portrait orders start at 2-3 weeks and go up from there based on size and complexity. We will reach out to you once ordered to give you a basic timeline for completion. We are always happy to answer any questions via email or Facebook messenger.
Is there a place to see examples of your work?
We suggest you look at both the Ornament section and the Portrait section to see examples of our work. They are both good representations of the style you can expect.
The website isn’t letting me order something, what do I do?
Ornament quantities are always limited and might be sold out. Custom portrait options are not always available in the size and canvas option you may want, in which case it will not let you order those particular options. It is always best to contact the studio if you run into issues or have something specific in mind!
The Custom Portrait options are confusing, how does it work?
The number of pets refers to how many you would like pictured on a single canvas. It will only go up to three online, if you have more please reach out for a custom order.
We have recently updated our portrait sizes and availability. If you would like a particular size but it isn’t showing up online in the options you want, please ask!
The Gallery style canvas is high quality linen with a thickness of 1.5 inches and is meant to be frameless.
Most information is gathered via email after you purchase a product. In general we recommend background colors that are complimentary to colors of the portrait. We do try to lean towards a client’s preference but it is not always the best color match. While we also lean towards a client’s preference on pose, we may recommend something that works best for the canvas size and personality of your pet.
